Joanne began working with Crossroads in the summer of 1994 as summer counselor at Camp Lapham. Over the next four years, Joanne progressed from counselor to village director, assistant camp director, camp director, and in 1998 she was promoted to her current position of vice president of programs and operations. As vice president, Joanne manages all of finance, program, and operations at Crossroads. She is also responsible for maintaining high standards with all state, local, and American Camping Association (ACA) governing agencies, for sustaining and evolving high-quality, innovative youth development programs and facilities, and ensuring that the program outcomes and growth goals set forth in the Strategic Plan are met. Joanne also sits on the C5 National team and is responsible for the managing relationship with National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS). Joanne has a bachelor’s degree in physical education with an athletic training concentration from Bridgewater State University.
