We have reached the end of another amazing summer here at Crossroads!
In many ways, this summer has felt like a season of renewed promise for our young people. Thanks to the support of donors like you, we operated our three summer sites at full capacity, with children and teens enjoying golden days in the cabins, dining halls, fields, forests, ponds, and pools of our camps. They experienced so much of what makes Crossroads such an enduring and special community including the M Games, Restaurant Wars, Masquerade Ball, and Christmas in August—traditions that remind us that the “new normal” can be a place of joy, hope, and kinship.
We were also thrilled that so many of our C5 Leaders were able to explore the world beyond our camps. Our C5 Hammers (Grade 10) flew across the country to trek through the wilds of Wyoming’s Wind River Range. Our C5 Compasses (Grade 11) planned the Road to College Tour and visited campuses and workplace training programs across New England. And our C5 Medallions (Grade 12) experienced one last magical Crossroads summer, spending a week at Stonehill College where they prepared to embark on their postsecondary journeys. As we turn to autumn with vivid memories, full hearts, and a determination to reach New Heights, we need your support! With your investment, Crossroads will build upon our summer successes and continue to deliver high quality programming to C5 Leaders and Junior Leaders throughout this academic year.
