2021 Crossroads C5 New England Golf Classic
On Monday, September 20, we were honored to host over 110 guests at the beautiful Wianno Club for a joyous celebration of our Crossroads C5 Leaders. We are pleased to announce that thanks to the support of our Golf Classic sponsors, golfers, and silent auction donors and bidders, we exceeded our goal and raised over $260,000!
The generous support of our Golf Classic donors helps Crossroads empower over 400 C5 Leaders each year, providing them a brave space to explore, to discover themselves, and to realize their unlimited potential. Reflecting on the impact of philanthropy in his closing remarks, this year’s alumni speaker David Teixeira (C5 Leaders Class of 2010) said it best:
“Each camper that goes through this program is a leader. Whether they are the next activist, doctor, soldier, teacher, or police officer, they will leave an everlasting impact on this world. And we have C5 to thank for that. We have each and every one of you to thank for that. As long as we all do our part to support this program, we will continue to make our community a better place.”
Thank you David for sharing your story with us, and for being an inspiration to all that you meet!
The success of the event is also made possible by the hard work and dedication of our Golf Committee:
- Brendan Brazel
- R. Kelly Cameron, Ed.D.
- Peter Dalrymple
- Tom Davidson
- Mort Fearey
- Madison Fox
- Craig Mancusi
- David McGrath
- and Mike Phalen
Special thanks to our Compass and Hammer level sponsors: Avery Dennison, Brook & Whittle, Mollie & William Foley, the J.C. Kellogg Foundation, the Phalen Family, William Blair, and an anonymous donor. Especially this year, we are so grateful to all of our golfers, donors, and sponsors for making this year’s event one to remember!
