Adventure Coordinator

College / Internship Credit Available

Support the next generation of diverse leaders

Spend your summer in a dynamic environment with incredible staff and inspirational young people! Campers are dynamic leaders in grades 8-10 from the Boston area who were chosen to be in our C5 leaders program. If you’re interested in pursuing a career in education, social work, psychology, or nonprofit management, this is the opportunity for you! Opportunities are available to complete personalized projects, curriculum development, and earn college credit.

C5 New England is a five-year leadership program focused on character, community action, and postsecondary readiness. Teens develop and practice skills in summer and year-round programs. At Camp Lapham, youth participate in Leadership University lessons, build community in teambuilders, and participate in camp activities like biking, fishing, sports, and the climbing wall.

In the Adventure Program, C5 leaders push themselves out of their comfort zones while applying their leadership skills. The Adventure Coordinator plans and facilitates progressive and intentional experience on the high and low ropes courses, weaving in Leadership University concepts. The Coordinator is in charge of ropes course management, risk management during instruction, and facilitating reflection throughout and post activity.
