Meet Urban Campfire Committee Member Kathy Kasper
Kathy was introduced to Crossroads through an invitation to our Urban Campfire in 2013. At the event, she met our youth ambassadors and immediately felt the Crossroads magic. Kathy was moved by the mission of Crossroads to empower youth to realize their fullest potential, which galvanized her into action that evening.
Since that first invitation, Kathy quickly became an essential part of our Crossroads Family. She has served on the Board of Trustees since 2013 and has been integral to growing the network of Crossroads benefactors through her work as an ambassador in the community and on social media.
Leading by example, Kathy is no stranger to philanthropy. A rider for the Dana Farber Pan-Mass Challenge for 21 years, she rides with her husband (a rider for 35 years) and son (a rider for 12 years), cycling the 180+ miles over two days. Her favorite year, she shared, was the year campers and Crossroads staff cheered along the Pan-Mass route.
Family is Kathy’s driving force — whether it be her own or her Crossroads Family. Her smile grows broader when she shares about the impact that giving has made in her life.
Kathy is our champion — a spirited, charitable giver and an example of how one invitation can change everything!
