After months and months of planning and anticipation, we welcomed our first session of overnight campers this weekend! The day marked the reopening of all three Crossroads campsites: Camp Wing in Duxbury, Camp Mitton in Brewster, and Camp Lapham in Ashby. We are thrilled to be operating at full capacity for the first time since 2019.
We are so excited for our young people to once again enjoy refreshing dips in Slough Pond at Camp Mitton, dance in the Dining Hall at Camp Wing, build confidence at our Camp Lapham Leadership University, hike the Wind River Range in Wyoming, and explore college campuses across New England. After two years of challenge, we know how important it is for kids to be part of a caring community of peers and mentors—and we know that opportunities to try new things, build essential skills, and make lifelong friends will help our campers to truly understand the limitless nature of their potential.
