OUR STORY

Tucked within the beautiful natural landscape of three distinct Massachusetts towns in Duxbury, Brewster, and Ashby, Crossroads camps offer a quintessential outdoor experience to young people in grades 2-12. Every summer our rustic camps welcome 1,000 kids and teens to their home away from home at Camp Wing, Camp Mitton, and Camp Lapham.

Our young people experience the power of the Crossroads community as they enjoy cabin life, learn to swim and ride a bike, tackle the high ropes course, explore the unique beauty of nature, and make new friends—in a joyous, welcoming, and inclusive village of support.

Crossroads invites kids to build on summer camp success during the school year through weekend and vacation week programs at Camp Wing, designed to foster confidence and leadership skills. Teens in the Crossroads C5 Leaders program are recommended for this five-year leadership program that partners with teens through outdoor education, leadership development, civic engagement, community service, intentional exploration and planning for college and/or career success.

Our programs place children and teens in learning-by-doing experiences, where they are challenged to take risks, reflect on their growth, and chart next steps.

PARTNERSHIPS MAKE THE MISSION POSSIBLE

High quality, overnight camp and leadership opportunities are often financially out of reach for low-income families. Our Crossroads team partners with educators and child advocates across Greater Boston to reach kids most in need who would benefit from our programs. Thanks to our donors and other critical funders, Crossroads ensures that accessibility is never an issue for any child, regardless of financial circumstance.

We believe that young people can shape their own futures, and should not be defined by their social and economic means. With Crossroads as a committed guide on their journey, our young people experience the great joys of making new friends, exploring new horizons, and realizing their vast potential.
