At last, our Crossroads summer Homecoming is underway!
On Saturday, June 26, our Grade 8 Flints and Grade 9 Lanterns reported to Camp Lapham in Ashby, Massachusetts for the first time. After so many months away, we were thrilled to welcome our first and second year C5 Leaders for 25 magical days of beloved traditions, opportunities for learning, and an inclusive community.
On Sunday, June 27, we welcomed Boston Public Schools students in Grades 3-8 to our Summer Learning Academy in Duxbury. This marks the start of a 25-day camp session featuring 4 hours of daily academic enrichment with certified BPS teachers, taught alongside traditional camp activities.
Our counselors and young people alike are so excited to be back at camp…despite the brutal heat! Although it is hard to capture all that is happening with a few images, we hope our gratitude and joy for this summer Homecoming shines through.
We are so grateful for the nearly 400 donors who have supported the Homecoming campaign so far. Thank you for your commitment to bringing “better days” to fruition. If you have not yet donated, it’s not too late to participate. To learn more about our #Crossroadshomecoming or to make a donation to the campaign, please visit crossroadsma.org/homecoming.
